Gin Espresso Martini

Love gin? Why not try this twist on the classic Espresso Martini recipe by replacing the vodka with gin to add a depth of flavour to the classic cocktail.

Our uniquely small botanical blend means our signature dry gin is the perfect gin for cocktails, each of the botanicals being perfectly balanced and nothing is overpowering. Our gin is distilled with the distillery’s own base spirit (a rarity!) of sugar beet vodka so it produces a smooth mouthfeel and ultra premium gin, crafted from scratch. We also distil Eko Gin in custom made 200 litre copper pot stills (most small batches are 1,000 litre stills) which means we really can control the spirit and produce an expertly distilled premium craft gin, removing the heads and tails for a better all round flavour and smoothness.  

For the coffee liqueur, we have tried a LOT of coffee liqueurs and Skull Crusher Coffee Liqueur is by far our favourite. It is a delicious velvety coffee liqueur, expertly crafted using a two stage copper pot distilling process to maximise flavour (it is also delicious neat!). Skull Crusher’s signature blend of high caffeine, small batch roasted coffee beans are distilled with a premium sugar beet vodka to produce this mouth-watering liqueur. 

Combine Eko Gin and Skull Crusher Coffee Liqueur to make the perfect Ginspresso Martini. 

Ingredients

  • 25ml Eko Signature Dry Gin
  • 25ml Skull Crusher Coffee Liqueur
  • 25 ml espresso
  • Ice

Method 

  1. In a cocktail shaker, combine the gin, coffee liqueur, espresso and ice.
  2. Shake until cold.
  3. Strain into a coupe glass.
  4. Garnish with coffee beans.
